We, the South West Regional Wound Care Program (SWRWCP), respect the people with skin and wound care issues in the South West Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) and the health care system partners we represent:

  • We promote person empowerment and the right to self-determination, and;
  • We uphold individual liberty and the right to live at risk, so long as the choices do not pose imminent risk to others.

We meet all legal requirements and are knowledgeable of all laws, regulations and policies relevant to skin and wound care practices in the South West LHIN, including (but not limited to):

We are accountable and transparent:

  • We conduct ourselves with integrity in an honest and ethical manner;
  • We put in place adequate internal controls over the use and accountability of public funds (to sustain this Program), and;
  • We ensure that all financial reports (pertaining to the Program) are factually accurate and complete in all material respects to serve the public interest.
