Description of Services: Colonoscopy procedures (a procedure in which a flexible fiber-optic instrument is inserted through the anus in order to examine the colon) to detect colon cancer are available to patients with increased risk because of a family history (one or more first degree relatives with colorectal cancer) or with a positive Fecal Occult Blood test (FOBT) test.
