Acute care for patients who have had a stroke * patients move right into intensive rehabilitation as soon as they are ready and appropriate for rehab * services provided by nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, social workers, rehabilitation assistants, pharmacists, and recreational therapists * regular access to a doctor Typical stays last 5 weeks |
